Active (Pathways) Solutions Ltd are working in partnership with a well-established building contractor that specialise in housing and apartment developments throughout the UK.
As a result of recent contract wins and substantial growth, they are looking to engage a Site Manager to be responsible for the work they have been awarded in the Malvern area.
Our client is looking to recruit an experienced Site Manager that will become an integral member of their senior management team.
The ideal candidate will have experience of working on affordable living or social housing schemes.
The main focus of this assignment is to make sure the correct completion of works is carried out on their properties and that working practices are implemented correctly, whilst ensuring a high degree of safe working practices and culture throughout the site.
The successful individual will be responsible for different elements/phases of the project and the role is likely to vary as the project develops.
Some of the key elements of this role will be –
* Managing groundworks
* Managing drainage issues
* Internal and external builds
Alongside experience in this type of project and the relevant qualifications (as below), applicants must have a high degree of communication skills that can be applied at all levels and excellent organisation skills – both internally and externally. You will have been involved in meetings with third parties such as sub-contractors, utility providers, local authorities etc.
Qualifications required (as minimum)
* SMSTS
* First Aid
* A driving licence
