Reports To: COO – Kingdom Healthcare Salary: c.£60k Job Summary: We are seeking a highly organized and responsible individual to oversee and manage the daily operations of our RQIA (Regulation and Quality Improvement Authority) registered nursing agency. The Responsible Individual will ensure the agency complies with all regulatory requirements and standards set forth by RQIA, providing safe and high-quality care to clients. This position requires strong leadership, excellent communication skills, and a deep understanding of the regulatory landscape within healthcare services. Key Responsibilities: Regulatory Compliance: Ensure that the nursing agency is fully compliant with RQIA regulations and all relevant healthcare legislation, including maintaining required documentation, audits, and inspection Quality Assurance: Implement and monitor quality assurance procedures, ensuring high standards of care are consistently delivered to all service users. Staff Management: Oversee recruitment, training, and ongoing support for nursing staff, ensuring that they meet RQIA standards and are properly accredited. Promote a positive and supportive work environment. Care Delivery Monitoring: Regularly review care delivery and patient outcomes to ensure the agency meets or exceeds quality standards. Address and resolve any issues or complaints promptly and professionally. Health and Safety: Ensure that all health and safety regulations are adhered to within the agency’s operations and that a safe working environment is maintained for all staff and clients. Client Liaison: Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, ensuring that their needs and preferences are met, and that the agency responds to feedback in a constructive manner. Reporting: Prepare and submit regular reports to senior management and RQIA, ensuring that all records are accurate and up-to-date. Training and Development: Ensure all staff are regularly trained on best practices, regulatory changes, and relevant healthcare advancements. Encourage continuous professional development for all employees. Qualifications & Experience: Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a leadership or management role within healthcare, preferably within a nursing agency or similar setting. In-depth knowledge of RQIA regulations, healthcare legislation, and quality assurance processes. Strong communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills. Ability to handle confidential information and sensitive situations with professionalism and discretion. Excellent organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively. Desirable: Registered Nurse (RN) with active NMC (Nursing and Midwifery Council) registration. Experience in a Responsible Individual role within an RQIA-registered agency.
