Why we need you At 15 Marketing, we are committed to pushing the boundaries of safer gambling, ensuring that our platform provides a safe and enjoyable experience for all players. As a Safer Gambling Specialist, you will play a key role in driving our safer gambling initiatives by analysing player behaviour, identifying potential risks, and implementing strategies to prevent harm. You will work closely with internal teams to design and deliver training, raise awareness, and develop solutions to enhance player protection. You will be proactive, data-driven, and have the ability to work independently to develop and execute strategies that promote a safer gambling environment. What you’ll be doing As part of your role, your responsibilities will include: Safer Gambling Guidance The Safer Gambling Specialist provides compliance support and guidance to other customer facing teams within the business. They will also be the point of call for safer gambling escalations from other teams. The Safer Gambling Specialist reviews all compliance-related inbound emails and self-assessment responses from customers and then takes the relevant action. CIP account reviews The Safer Gambling Specialist will carry out CIP reviews to determine whether a CIP follow up is required. If a CIP action is required then they assess and decide, based on a thorough review, which level of interaction or action is appropriate. This role is accountable for performing appropriate actions on accounts in accordance with Safer Gambling regulations and our internal policies and procedures. Compliance task reviews The Safer Gambling Specialist will also help review and analyse the effectiveness of safer gambling processes and assess whether the correct actions were taken. Where necessary they are expected to inform their manager of any higher-level action required. Communication The Safer Gambling Specialist will carry out compliance interactions with customers via phone and email to help mitigate risks of gambling harm. This at times will include complex and high risk interactions with vulnerable customers that may mention suicide or self-harm. Essential skills you’ll bring to the table Safer Gambling Compliance: In-depth knowledge of responsible gambling practices, regulations, and guidelines to ensure compliance across all activities. Risk Assessment & Intervention: Strong ability to assess accounts for potential risks and determine appropriate interventions based on thorough reviews. Attention to Detail: Excellent attention to detail when reviewing customer accounts and compliance tasks to ensure accurate actions are taken. Communication Skills: Strong written and verbal communication skills to effectively inform Key Account Managers and conduct follow-up calls with customers in sensitive situations. Problem Solving: Ability to handle complex compliance issues and make decisions in line with safer gambling standards. Confidentiality & Sensitivity: Discretion and sensitivity when dealing with customer concerns, particularly those related to self-harm or suicide, ensuring proper care and support. Collaboration: Ability to work closely with internal teams and departments to ensure responsible gambling processes are followed and escalations are managed appropriately.
