Teaching Personnel is looking for a dedicated and compassionate Teaching Assistant to work in a specialist SEN school, supporting children and young people with a range of additional needs including autism, ADHD, and social, emotional, and mental health (SEMH) challenges.
The Role:
As a Teaching Assistant, you will:
* Support students in small groups and one-to-one settings
* Help to create a safe, engaging, and inclusive learning environment
* Work closely with teachers and other support staff to deliver tailored learning plans
* Encourage independence and emotional wellbeing in students
About You:
* Experience working with children or young people is desirable, but not essential
* A positive, patient, and resilient attitude is key
* Strong communication skills and the ability to work well in a team
* A genuine interest in supporting students with special educational needs
