Job Summary:
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented manufacturing Cleaning Supervisor to join our team.
As a Supervisor, you will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and tidiness in various areas across a large manufacturing plant while looking after a team of operatives. This is a great opportunity for individuals who enjoy working independently and as part of a team, taking pride in their work. You will also be required to complete your own cleaning duties alongside the supervision of your team.
Duties:
1. Perform general cleaning tasks such as sweeping, mopping, use of cleaning machinery, and waste management.
2. Respond to reactive cleans around the site when requested.
3. Report any maintenance or repair needs to the on-site manager.
4. Adhere to site HSE requirements at all times while performing scheduled cleaning tasks.
5. Lead others in the cleaning and maintenance of the site.
Skills:
1. Attention to detail: Ability to notice small details and ensure thorough cleaning.
2. Time management: Efficiently manage time to complete tasks within designated timeframes.
3. Physical stamina: Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift for extended periods of time.
4. Communication skills: Effective communication with team members and supervisors.
5. Dependability: Reliable attendance and punctuality.
Shifts:
Afternoon Shift 3pm-11pm. Each shift pattern is fixed for that time, with 5 shifts completed over 7 days on a 5-week rotational basis, Monday to Sunday. Additional hours can be picked up to help support the onsite team and additional client requests.
