Trainee Passive Fire Engineer - London & Greater London
FAFS Fire & Security specialise in designing, installing, commissioning and servicing automatic Fire Detection, Protection and Alarm Systems in and around Greater London. We are currently looking to appoint a new Trainee Passive Fire Engineer to join our dynamic team.
Basic Salary – £25,500 - 26,000 per annum

The Role of Passive Fire Engineer
The Passive Fire Engineer will be responsible for the installation, repair, and maintenance of passive fire protection measures, ensuring compliance with relevant fire safety regulations and standards. You will work closely with our project teams to deliver exceptional service and ensure safety and quality standards are met throughout the installation process.
* Install and maintain passive fire protection systems in accordance with current legislation and best practices.
* Conduct site surveys to assess existing fire protection measures and recommend improvements.
* Prepare and present detailed reports on the condition and performance of fire stopping systems.
* Collaborate with other engineers and contractors to create effective passive fire strategies.
* Provide training and support to onsite personnel regarding passive fire safety measures.
* Maintain accurate records of installations, inspections, and repairs performed.
* Ensure all safety protocols are followed and promote a culture of safety within the team.
* Stay updated with industry regulations, standards, and best practices related to passive fire protection.

* Full UK Driving Licence.
