Key Information:
* Location: Lincoln, Lincolnshire
* Salary: Competitive pay, based on experience
* Flexible Hours: Full-time and part-time opportunities available
* Driving Licence: Essential (due to the need to travel to various schools and nurseries)
Qualifications & Experience Required:
* Level 2 or Level 3 Teaching Assistant Qualification or equivalent for Teaching Assistants
* Nursery Nurse Qualification (e.g., Level 2 or Level 3 in Childcare and Education) for Nursery Nurses
* Experience working with children in a classroom or nursery setting is essential
* Experience in mainstream schools or nurseries is preferred
* Knowledge of the National Curriculum for Teaching Assistants or Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) for Nursery Nurses
* Experience or knowledge of Special Educational Needs (SEN) is beneficial
* First Aid Training is desirable
* Good communication skills and the ability to work well with teachers, nursery staff, and children
Key Responsibilities:
* Teaching Assistants:
o Support the class teacher in delivering lessons and activities
o Assist with classroom management and maintaining a positive learning environment
o Provide one-to-one or small group support to students with varying learning needs
o Help prepare learning materials and resources
o Support students' social and emotional development
o Communicate effectively with staff and parents
* Nursery Nurses:
o Support the development and learning of children within the Early Years setting
o Assist with daily routines and activities, ensuring the well-being of children
o Work with children to develop their social, emotional, and cognitive skills
o Support the implementation of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) curriculum
o Maintain a safe, nurturing environment
o Build positive relationships with children, parents, and staff
