About the Position:
Reporting to the Creative Director, this position requires a self-starter with a high degree of energy, motivation, and discipline to achieve success. You will be part of the Marketing team and responsible for taking the lead in the development and production of animation, videos, and other creative materials.
Key Functions and Responsibilities:
1. Ideate, design, and develop highly engaging, consistent creative video content and animation.
2. Identify opportunities to create content to appeal to our investors and clients.
3. Maintain brand consistency throughout marketing projects.
4. Edit and assemble raw footage into polished creative videos that align with the company’s vision and goals.
5. Create engaging animations and motion graphics for various projects, including promotional videos, social media content, and advertisements.
6. Collaborate with the creative team to develop concepts and storyboards for video and animation projects.
7. Enhance video and audio quality using editing software and techniques.
8. Manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
9. Stay updated with the latest trends and techniques in video editing and animation.
Required Skills and Abilities:
1. A post-secondary degree in a video, film, graphic design or related discipline and a minimum of 3+ years’ demonstrated experience. Must have a portfolio demonstrating relevant experience.
2. Artistic talent and the ability to work with brand guidelines and translate key points from a creative brief into powerful creative.
3. Design for performance mindset - inquisitive and always looking to push for creative and design excellence in each project.
4. Demonstrated experience producing content from concept to deliverable – including conceptualizing, coordinating, scheduling, and managing the various stages including storyboarding, video/audio editing, animations, rendering and finishing/deploying.
5. Up to date on technology and apps in the creation/editing of content through animation/video. Advanced proficiency in using industry standard software and emerging AI tools.
6. Collaborating closely with internal stakeholders to help facilitate the creation of multimedia content.
7. Self-starter, team player, ability to multi-task, and cope in a fast paced, constantly changing growth environment.
8. Excellent written and spoken communication skills.
9. Strong time management, follow-up and organizational skills.
10. An ability to produce exacting work with meticulous attention to detail.
Education and Experience:
1. 3 years+ of demonstrable video and graphic content development experience.
