Key Responsibilities
* Liaise with Supervisors to determine and prioritise workloads
* Preparation of materials for assembly
* Installation of insulation, linings, ceilings, floor coverings, doors, windows, furniture and finishings
* Ongoing maintenance and repair of existing assets including completion of all associated paperwork
* Co-ordinate with other disciplines to ensure activities are completed in a timely and efficient manner
* Provide progress updates to Supervisor/Team Lead on job status
* Carrying out offsite work/offshore work as required
* Participating in the management of HSE within own area of responsibility
* Delivering quality within own area of responsibility.
Skills & Experience
* Interpretation of technical drawings
* A well organised individual with an ability to prioritise
* Excellent technical knowledge with proactive approach to problem solving
* Good at analysing situations and informing decision-makers of any potential barriers to effective project execution
* Effective team player and good communicator
* Calm under pressure and effective in meeting deadlines.
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications:
* Experience from the oil and gas industry, preferable but not essential
* Fully qualified Joiner/Outfitter through supporting body e.g. SQA, City & Guilds.
