Job Title: Family Support Worker - Immediate start Location: North West England, Lancashire, Burnley Job Type: Temporary - Flexible and Part-time hours Primary Industry: Education Salary: £12.90 - £13.50 Per hour Job Duties: Work as part of the Family Support Team to provide support to children and their families Provide practical and emotional support to families facing difficulties Assess needs and develop individualised support plans Work collaboratively with social workers, health professionals, and other agencies Deliver parenting skills workshops and educational programmes Advocate for families and connect them with relevant community resources Have strong communication and interperseonal skills Maintain confidentiality and work with sensitivity Arrange meetings with parents and outside agencies Complete home visits to children and families Required Qualifications: NVQ Level 3 in Health and Social Care or equivalent Previous experience working with families in challenging situations Knowledge and Skills: Understanding of child protection policies and procedures Knowledge of relevant community resources and support services Ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team Relevant experience working with families in challenging situations If you are interested in being a Family Support Worker within a Primary School setting, please apply with your CV, outlining your relevant experience.
