Associate Director, Facilities – Contract
A Senior Facilities and Property Management Professional Opportunity
This is an exceptional freelance position for a highly experienced individual to work with a pioneering biopharmaceutical company that aims for global expansion.
The leadership team requires someone who can bridge the gap between strategy and implementation due to increased workload. Responsibilities include managing all aspects of property, facilities, licensing, and laboratory services, with a strong focus on compliance and health & safety given the nature of the products handled.
To succeed in this role, building strong internal stakeholder relationships and supporting the current Director in their leadership and people management will be crucial.
The contract will last for at least six months, with potential extension up to two years based on ongoing work pipeline. Flexibility to take on a longer contract would be valuable.
Remuneration will be market-led, dependent on the candidate's experience, and we welcome applications to discuss further details.
Key Responsibilities
* Senior-level experience in facilities, building, and property management
* Background in pharmaceuticals or related manufacturing/technology settings considered advantageous
* Excellent stakeholder management skills
* Health & Safety training (NEBOSH / IOSH)
* Proven understanding of key areas including OHSAS18001, ISO14001, ISO9001, AutoCAD, CAFM, SFG20, Building Asset Registers, leases, and Condition Surveys
* Experience managing workload across a small team, including coaching and mentoring
