About The Role
We have an exciting opportunity for a Senior Primary Care Nurse to join our Primary Care team at HMP Featherstone, a category C Prison, located in Featherstone in Staffordshire. In this role, you'll be working with a multi-disciplinary team that will support you and help you succeed.
Hours
This position is part-time, working 30 hours per week, with an expectation to work 1 in 3 weekends.
Salary
You'll receive an annual salary up to £44,000 per annum FTE - depending on experience.

What you'll be doing
As a Senior Primary Care Nurse, your responsibilities will vary. You will:
* Be an integral part of the multi-disciplinary healthcare team by bringing your top-notch clinical skills and passion for care.
* Undertake a wide variety of tasks including screening, assessments, examinations, and tests as well as answering emergency bells and potentially being the first person to attend an emergency.
* Develop and apply new skills to maintain and enhance clinical service delivery.
Qualifications required
* Registered nurse - Adult
* Excellent communication skills
* Understanding of the complexities of multi-disciplinary and multi-agency working
* Ability to work within a busy environment
* Ability to work unsupervised whilst following policy and procedures
Although not essential, ideal applicants would have experience in a hospital, community, or prison environment.
