Reeson Education is delighted to be working with a warm and welcoming primary school in the M23 area to recruit a passionate SEN Teaching Assistant to support students in Year 1 with special needs. The school provides a nurturing and supportive environment where every child is encouraged to take risks, learn from mistakes, and develop a love for learning.
Key Responsibilities for the SEN Teaching Assistant:
* Work alongside the class teacher to provide tailored support to pupils with complex needs in Year 1.
* Assist with the development and implementation of individual learning plans for students.
* Provide support for pupils in a variety of classroom activities, promoting their engagement and independence.
* Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment where students feel safe to express themselves.
* Collaborate with other staff and TAs to ensure the needs of each pupil are met.
* Help track and monitor the progress of students and provide feedback to the class teacher.
* Encourage social and emotional development and support students in their interactions with peers.
