Job Title: Project Coordinator

About the Role:
The Project Coordinator is a reactive role within an expanding family run company. The main purpose of the Project Coordinator is to support contracts managers in delivering projects, involving a broad range of tasks across all phases of projects. This role is dynamic, with the potential for further training and responsibility.
Responsibilities & Duties:
1. Perform administrative tasks to ensure each phase of the project is delivered on time to the customer's satisfaction.
2. Self-motivated and manage your own time to meet deadlines; the role is office-based, and you may have to work alone on occasion.
3. Follow business processes and work as part of the team to achieve business targets.
4. Day-to-day administration of jobs.
5. Ensure each job has the relevant project information recorded both electronically & in project files.
6. Collate & supply job reports upon the customer's request.
7. Ensure all relevant H&S paperwork is issued.
8. Support management in delivering projects on time to agreed delivery dates, within budget and to specification.
9. Manage customer expectations and ensure these are communicated and understood by the team & sub-contractors.
10. Liaise with clients and answer their queries.
11. Arrange site visits with customers.
12. Maintain the calendar & ensure reminders are set for client meetings / site visits.
13. Check deliveries received to office/site, where applicable.
14. Ensure all quote requests are flagged & deadlines adhered to.
15. Schedule sub-contractors' work.
16. Ensure the enquiry register & project tracker is up to date.
17. Monitor customer satisfaction.
18. Ensure project communication is carried out.
19. Follow document control processes.
About You:
1. Building/roofing trade experience/knowledge is essential.
2. Proficient in Excel.
3. Good telephone manner.
4. Attention to detail.
5. Good inter-personal skills with all levels of customers and staff.
6. A strong communicator with a positive attitude and a team player.
7. Ability to work reactively.
