Admin/Receptionist Role Position Overview: The Admin/Receptionist is essential to the efficient operation of a college, managing front desk activities, delivering outstanding customer service, and handling various administrative tasks to support daily functions. The ideal candidate will be organized, proactive, and capable of managing multiple tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment. Key Responsibilities: Front Desk Management: - Greet and welcome visitors, students, and staff with a friendly and professional demeanour. - Answer and direct phone calls, manage inquiries, and provide accurate information about the college. - Maintain a tidy and organized reception area. Administrative Support: - Assist with the preparation of correspondence, reports, and other documents. - Manage scheduling and coordination of meetings, appointments, and events. - Handle incoming and outgoing mail and packages. Student and Staff Assistance: - Support students with general inquiries and administrative needs. - Assist staff with administrative tasks and provide support for various projects. - Maintain accurate student and staff records and databases. Operational Efficiency: - Ensure office supplies are stocked and manage inventory. - Support the implementation of office procedures and policies. - Collaborate with other administrative staff to enhance office operations and workflows. Qualifications: - High school diploma or equivalent; additional qualifications in office administration are a plus. - Proven experience as a receptionist, administrative assistant, or similar role. - Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook). - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. - Strong organizational and multitasking abilities. - Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Hours: 5 days a week. Preferably 7:45am - 2:45pm (hours are negotiable). Pay: Starting from £95 a day
