This role is a job share position and the working hours required are Monday-Thursday 2-5pm and Friday 9-4.30pm. You will manage the functional delivery of system-based activities, driving leading edge procurement capabilities and maximising total cost of ownership savings. Manage a team of Procurement Specialists to ensure effective use of the current technology and to ensure delivery against objectives, identifying and implementing continuous improvement activities and driving compliance with defined policies and processes. Manage any outsourced procurement services engaged to supplement this, both from a process & system delivery perspective and drive ongoing improvements in service levels. Lead and develop a team of Procurement Specialists to support the efficient operation of the Procurement function and deliver transactional services (e.g. generation of POs etc). Assess and approve database and system access and proactively manage any system issues. Review operational performance and drive compliance with governance processes and policies. About You Experience in Procurement processes (including P2P) and transactional processes. Demonstrated experience of successful use of eProcurement suites, SAP experience preferable. Supplier management expertise/experience. Experience in implementation of process improvements; process improvement accreditation desirable. Experience working in utilities desirable but not essential. Proficient in the use of MS Office 365 suite (Excel, Word, Outlook, Teams etc). Excellent coaching and mentoring skills, including application of performance management. Ability to effectively lead a matrixed team in a cross-supplier environment. Package This role will be part time Monday to Friday (19 hours) with a hybrid approach to working between our Durrington office and home.
