Director of Sales

Salary: £80,000 - £100,000 base salary
Commission: 100% commission structure
Sellick Partnership are delighted to have partnered with a fast-growing start-up business in the recruitment of a Director of Sales on a permanent basis.
The business is based on best-in-class technology to improve and simplify delivery services on a national basis. Their aim is to re-shape the industry and this opportunity will be crucial in shaping their enterprise sales strategy across their e-commerce focus.
The business is dedicated to a carbon neutral approach, measuring the carbon they produce with each delivery and offsetting this through their own carbon reduction programmes.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Identify, develop and nurture effective new business opportunities and introduce the business's unique delivery solution to target industries such as e-commerce, fashion retailers, mobile network retailers, consumer electronics vendors, and customer-to-customer marketplaces.
2. Manage accounts and verticals, including the reporting process, forecasting, sales orders, pipeline management, CRM database maintenance, customer enquiries, quotations, and sales orders effectively.
3. Partner with Technology and Operations teams to ensure the business is approaching the right customers and delivering excellent service.
4. Lead the sales team and newly formed account management team to ensure current accounts are maximized and key accounts are retained.
5. Prepare and present complex sales tenders and proposals, effectively negotiating winning outcomes.
Who we are looking for:
1. Excellent and proven track record of consistent success as a leader of enterprise account and sales teams.
2. Highly experienced in the SaaS sales space, with a preference within the e-commerce industry.
3. Proven ability to build lasting relationships with customer executives.
4. Skilled in motivating both field and desk-based sales and accounts teams.
5. Excellent presentation, communication, and negotiation skills.
6. Ability to accurately forecast team performance on a quarterly and monthly basis.
7. Excellent business acumen with the ability to lead on strategy and identify growth opportunities.
8. Empathetic, approachable, and mentoring approach with the ability to get the best out of the team.
