Are you adaptable, a natural problem solver, and passionate about providing excellent customer service?
At Paradigm Housing Group, we put our customers at the heart of everything we do. We're looking for enthusiastic and motivated individuals to join our Customer and Neighbourhood Team on a 6-month fixed-term basis, working across 30 hours per week (or as a secondment for internal candidates). This is an exciting opportunity to make a real impact in our communities and help us shape the future of our services.
What You'll Be Doing
As a Customer & Neighbourhood Officer, you'll play a key role in delivering outstanding services to our customers. You'll:
1. Ensure high levels of service performance and customer satisfaction.
2. Use your skills to identify when specialist support is needed to help customers sustain their tenancies.
3. Handle a range of day-to-day and more complex cases within mixed-tenure communities, supporting compliance and delivering tailored interventions for vulnerable customers.
4. Be an advocate for our customers, delivering services aligned to our Customer Care Standards.
5. Act as the face of our service - a key relationship builder, problem-solver, and customer service champion.
This is a visible and impactful role, with plenty of opportunities to make a difference.
What's in It for You?
While this is a fixed-term role, Paradigm is a large organisation undergoing exciting transformation. This role could offer:
1. Potential for the contract to be extended or made permanent.
2. A stepping stone to other opportunities within Paradigm.
If a long-term role doesn't materialise, you'll gain valuable experience to enhance your career prospects in this and similar fields. Many of our talented team members started in temporary roles and have gone on to forge successful careers with us.
What We're Looking For
We're seeking passionate, customer-focused individuals with:
1. A strong understanding of social housing issues and legislation is preferable.
2. Experience managing a varied and demanding workload with a proactive approach to problem solving.
3. Advanced communication skills (written and verbal) with the ability to influence effectively.
4. Flexibility to work across our East, West, and Central regions (You'll cover a large patch in the following areas: Buckinghamshire, Bedfordshire, Hertfordshire, Oxfordshire and surrounding counties, working alongside our Neighbourhood Team across our 16,000+ properties).
5. A commitment to continuous personal and professional development.
6. A full driving licence and regular access to a vehicle.
Thank you for your interest in Paradigm Housing Group thus far. Shortlisting will be conducted in line with the essential and desirable criteria set out in the person specification. We reserve the right to close this role earlier than the published date should a suitable candidate be identified.
