Patient contact will largely be incidental with the exception of patient requests for access to Health Records, which may be received in person. Help to oversee and support the wellbeing of the team Assist with recruitment and retention coordinating and adjusting the daily workload of the teams Notify the DHROM of areas of pressure that may exist so these can be reviewed; help the DHROM mitigate or resolve departmental pressures using basic problem solving and analytical skills Undertake initial performance management and sickness absence tasks and procedures as per Trust policies. This will occasionally involve distressing circumstances e.g. if a staff member requires informal capability or conduct management.
Undertake annual appraisals and ensuring staff are cross-trained in all aspects of the scanning bureau processes whilst ensuring any barriers to understanding are addressed Ensure all new starters are provided with welcome and training packs on their first day and provided with uniform Help to arrange Trust and Local induction for new staff Actively participate in and support the departments maintenance of the BSI 10008 compliance accreditation.
