Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Optical Assistant to join our team. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in supporting the daily operations of our optical practice, ensuring that patients receive exceptional service and care.
Duties
1. Assist patients in selecting appropriate eyewear, including frames and lenses, based on their needs and preferences.
2. Conduct preliminary eye examinations.
3. Maintain accurate patient records.
4. Provide excellent customer service by addressing patient inquiries and concerns in a professional manner.
5. Collaborate with team members to ensure a smooth workflow within the practice.
Experience
1. Previous experience in an optical setting is preferred but not essential; training will be provided for the right candidate.
2. Familiarity with laboratory processes is advantageous, as is knowledge of basic anatomy related to vision care.
3. Strong communication skills and a friendly demeanor are essential for interacting with patients effectively.
4. Ability to work well in a team environment while also being self-motivated to complete tasks independently.
