Our role:
The role of Head of Strategy will see you apply your advanced strategic knowledge and inquisitive nature to produce and take ownership of the overarching strategy for your client. You will lead your team to present solutions that are relevant, distinctive and of high quality, adding significant value to projects. You will work closely with the Creative team to shape big ideas and with the Accounts team to build strong client relationships, demonstrating an advanced ability in passionately presenting your ideas and actively looking for opportunities to bolster profitability. You will be a mentor to all Planners in your team, helping them to fulfil their potential.
What you can expect to be doing:
* To lead your team, devising solutions that fulfil and exceed the client brief whilst consistently pushing the strategy to its most innovative point.
* To proactively ensure an advanced understanding of the industry, brand and products within your Agency. Take the lead role in defining the team’s overarching strategy.
* To take overall responsibility for the work that you and your team produce, ensuring it is completed to deadline, is of high quality, demonstrating accuracy, attention to detail and ownership.
* To adapt to working across digital projects, extensive research projects, brand development and workshops depending on your client’s needs.
* To create and maintain a strong collaborative working relationship with your wider team, working harmoniously with client services, creative, science and digital.
* To lead the preparation and delivery of client meetings and workshops – delegating to your strategic team as necessary and adding significant value.
* To proactively aid the progression of your strategic team, developing them for roles of greater responsibility.
What we’d like to see from you:
* Experience working across global brand strategy in a creative agency setting.
* Ideally some healthcare experience.
* Experience with line management of a team of 3 (min) - 6 people.
