Offering electrical engineering services, they pride themselves on being an exciting prospect in their market, employee retention & their variety of work.About the Role: Field Project EngineerJoining their Northwest-based team, you'll take on the role of an electrically-biased Field Project Engineer. Reporting to the Engineering & Services Director, you'll be responsible for assisting with the design, drawing, regulation-checks and retrofit checks of electrical power systems, electrical switchgears & circuit breakers.Responsibilities:· Designing electrical power systems, electrical switchgears, circuit breakers, transformers & control panels.· Conduct design modifications for existing electrical infrastructure. This is in the form of retrofits, including the replacement of industrial circuit breakers & transformers.· Conduct design reviews to ensure the accuracy of electrical switchgear systems for both new build & retrofits.· Act as a core client liaison for customer sites across the UK & globally alongside providing technical assistance when necessary (eg: drawing changes).· Happy to work away from home infrequently (for up to weeks at a time).Requirements· At least 3 years' experience in an electrically biased engineering role working on switchgear (or similar) equipment.· NVQ qualified (electrical/electronics) as a minimum.· Experience working on switchgear electrical design projectsOur client would consider:· Manufacturing, field service, maintenance, design, product development, quality engineers with an electrical bias working on switchgear equipment.
