Description
As a Records & Retention Office you will be responsible for overseeing the management, organization, and compliance of electronic and paper-based records. You will help develop retention policies, ensure adherence to data regulations, and educate staff on effective records management.
What you’ll be doing as a Records & Retention Officer
* Ensure compliance with relevant legislation and regulatory requirements, including OFWAT, Freedom of Information, and the Data Protection Act (GDPR).
* Oversee the management of electronic and paper-based records, ensuring compliance with agreed data retention standards.
* Develop new records management standards.
* Educate staff on effective records management.
* Establish and manage the clients record management system.
Base Location: Reading - Hybrid.
