Conservation Contracts North West (CCNW) is a professional environmental contracting and consulting service specialising in habitat management. We collaborate with local authorities, government agencies, businesses, community groups, and landowners to enhance the environment through a range of practical conservation work and expert consultancy.
As part of our growth, we are looking for a Conservation Project Supervisor to join our team.
Key Responsibilities
* Supervise and work alongside a small team on conservation projects across the North West.
* Liaise with clients to ensure projects meet CCNW’s strategic and operational goals.
* Manage CCNW’s resources, including premises, vehicles, tools, and protective equipment.
* Conduct and oversee site-specific risk assessments.
* Ensure all practical work meets high standards and conforms to Health & Safety regulations.
* Assist management in achieving CCNW’s objectives and complete other duties as required.
Requirements
* Qualifications in conservation, countryside, or environmental practices or relevant experience (e.g., City & Guilds Level 2 certificate, extended Certificate in Countryside and Environment).
* Ability to lead a team across various projects.
* Strong interest in outdoor environmental work.
* Full UK driving license and access to private transport.
* Ability to complete jobs to specification and deadlines.
