Are you a Systems Engineer with a background in mechanical, electrical, or electronic systems? We’re working with several leading UK defence organisations who are looking for skilled engineers to join high-impact programmes across a variety of domains.
This is a fantastic opportunity to work at the forefront of engineering innovation on complex, mission-critical systems. Projects range from:
* Missile Seekers & Guidance Systems
* Weapon & Launch Platforms
* Surveillance & Detection Systems
You’ll be involved in the full systems engineering lifecycle, from requirements capture and design through to integration, test, and validation.
What We're Looking For
We’re keen to speak with engineers who bring a strong foundation in systems thinking and experience across the full engineering lifecycle. You might come from a background in mechanical, electrical, electronic, or mechatronic systems, and ideally from a regulated industry such as Defence, Aerospace, Automotive, Nuclear, or Rail.
Ideal candidates will have experience in some of the following areas:
* Requirements engineering – elicitation, definition, analysis, and management
* System architecture and design – producing functional and physical architecture
* Integration, verification, and validation (IV&V) – supporting system build, test planning, and execution
* Model-based systems engineering (MBSE) using tools such as SysML, Cameo, or similar
* Working knowledge of DOORS or other requirements management tools
* Experience working within frameworks such as ISO, ARP, or MOD standards
* A collaborative mindset – comfortable working with multi-disciplinary teams including hardware, software, and project stakeholders
* Strong communication skills – able to interface with both technical and non-technical colleagues, and present engineering concepts clearly
* Ability to work in a hybrid environment, managing your own time effectively across site and remote working
* Must be eligible for UK Security Clearance (typically minimum 5 years’ UK residency)
