Job summary
As a Senior Palliative Care Assistant, you will provide accessible, innovative, and influential care for people living with complex and incurable conditions in our communities, as well as supporting their families and carers.
Main duties of the job
You will participate in delivering healthcare to patients and providing emotional and psychological support, working in partnership with the patient and in collaboration with internal colleagues and the external health community.
You will need experience of providing care in a health or social setting along with an NVQ level 3 in care or equivalent.
You will need to have excellent verbal and written communication skills and be able to demonstrate compassion and sensitivity towards our service users and colleagues.
You should be proficient in using IT, familiar with packages such as Word and Excel. Please refer to the full Job Description for further details and requirements for the role.
