What You’ll Bring: Commercial Services Group are looking for a confident and well organised individual to join their friendly Learning and Development team. This is an exciting developmental role for an experienced administrator looking for their next role. The Learning and Development Assistant will play a key role in supporting the effective delivery of learning and development activities, with a particular focus on the coordination and administration of apprenticeship programmes, internal courses, eLearning platforms, and learning data. The successful candidate will provide high-quality administrative and operational support across the full learning cycle — from onboarding learners and managing training logistics, to maintaining accurate records and supporting reporting needs, ensuring a smooth and engaging learner experience and acting as a key point of contact for day-to-day queries about development opportunities. What You’ll Achieve: As a Learning & Development Assistant you will: Coordinate and administer internal and external training, including logistics, materials, invitations, follow-ups, and maintaining accurate learning records. Support apprenticeship programmes from onboarding through to progress tracking, while managing provider relationships and documentation. Manage and update content on the eLearning platform, provide user support, and track learning completion for reporting and compliance. Assist in delivering employee engagement and culture initiatives, such as communications, DEI events, and supporting internal platforms. Contribute to process improvements within the People, Culture & Communications team, aiming to enhance employee experience and operational efficiency. Confident user of Microsoft Office packages particularly Excel, Outlook, Word and PowerPoint. Strong communication skills, both verbal and written. An understanding of the role Learning and Development plays in organisational success.
