Drama Teacher (Maternity Cover)
Location: Stoke-on-Trent, Staffordshire
Start Date: September 2025 (Earlier start available for newly qualified ECTs)
Role Overview:
We are seeking an enthusiastic Drama Teacher to join a fantastic school in Stoke-on-Trent for a maternity cover position. The role is set to start in September 2025, but an earlier start is available for newly qualified ECTs. The head teacher of the school fosters a positive learning environment and supports teachers in their professional development.
Key Responsibilities:
* Teach engaging Drama lessons to Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 students.
* Develop and deliver a creative Drama curriculum that encourages students’ imagination and self-expression.
* Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback and support.
* Contribute to extracurricular Drama activities and school performances.
Requirements:
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent (Newly Qualified Teachers are welcome to apply).
* A degree in Drama, Performing Arts, or a related field.
* Passion for Drama and creativity, with a strong commitment to student development.
* Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
