Come and join our team Main duties of the job Your primary role, as our Acute Physician, is to provide early patient decisions with support from junior medical staff, a dedicated nursing team, procedural support practitioners and a rapid response social and therapy team. You will work within the Acute Medical Service (AMS), contributing to a team of Consultants in Acute Medicine and supporting the delivery of patient care within the Acute Medical Services in line with national standards and Care Quality Commission requirements. The crucial parts of your role will be to provide strong clinical leadership, to promote a friendly and team based working environment, ensure regular pro-active reviews and coordination of care for our patients and become part of a seamless team responsible for providing care to medical patients admitted via Emergency Medicine, the Medical Assessment Unit and SDEC.
