Job summary Ward 17, is a 14 bedded Elective orthopeadic and trauma ward. We are seeking a highly motivated Healthcare assistant to join our friendly and dedicated team. This opportunity isfor a comitted and dynamic individual to join a well established enthusiastic team. The successful candiate will support the nursing stadd in assisting to care for patients with all activites Main duties of the job Ward 17 is a 14 bedded orthopaedic ward. Depending on elective admissions the ward also takes trauma patients from the orthopaedic admissions ward. You would be required to undertake longday/nightshifts 7 days a week. We are currently recqruiting for a fixed term post of 10 months, with the potential of this being made permanent Applicants must be able to demonstrate the trusts values and behaviours. The main duties will be varied, and including a team player, assisting patient with personal hygiene, assisting patients during meal times, talking and listening to patients and working in partnership with patients, carers and the wider team.
