Our client, a global law firm with a presence in over 40 countries, is seeking a bright and ambitious Senior Associate specialising in commercial disputes to join their Birmingham team.
Responsibilities
* Advise clients on dispute avoidance, management, and resolution strategies for high-value, complex cases
* Collaborate with international teams to support clients operating in key sectors
* Demonstrate a deep understanding of technical issues crucial to clients
* Build and develop a network of internal and external contacts
* Draft documents using a commercial, client-focused style
* Comply with professional standards, regulatory obligations, and firm policies and procedures
Requirements
* Qualified Solicitor, ideally in England & Wales or a Commonwealth jurisdiction with 4+ years of PQE
* Strong litigation experience gained at a leading regional or City firm
* Multi-disciplinary experience in litigation, arbitration, and alternative dispute resolution
* Interest in supporting clients operating in one of the firm's key sectors
* Experience working across jurisdictions and advising international clients
* Capability to build and develop a network of internal and external contacts
* Proficiency in utilising information and research resources
