Medical Secretary Duties: - Create and send referrals via e-referral system in an accurate manner. - Send referral letters directly to hospitals. - Manage secretary task box, ensuring urgent referrals such as two week waits are actioned in a timely manner. - Manage secretary email inbox. - Answering queries from professionals, staff and patients over email, face-to-face and over the phone. - Expediting referrals as requested by GP. Data Administrator Duties: - Perform general clerical duties, such as filing, completing clerical and administrative work, including scanning, and indexing of all letters and documents.- Process SARS and insurance queries. - Deal with emails from internal and external stakeholders in a timely manner. - Help with general queries from the public. Skills: - Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.- Attention to detail for accurate data entry.- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.- Good knowledge of Microsoft Packages for email, calendar, and document management. Advantage: - Experience in the NHS and/or using SystmOne - Previously working in a GP surgery or NHS. - Advanced IT skills
