Work from home and in the community in Leicestershire, Nottinghamshire, Derbyshire, Lincolnshire or Northamptonshire.
Roles
37.5 hours a week, although part-time / flexible working is considered.
About the Role
We are seeking an experienced and enthusiastic psychologist to join our team to primarily provide therapy in our Veterans’ Complex Treatment Service, which is part of the national Op Courage: Veteran Mental Health & Wellbeing pathway in the East Midlands and East of England. The ideal candidate will have expertise in working with trauma and complex presentations, preferably with military personnel.
Key Responsibilities
1. Deliver outcome-based psychological therapy tailored to meet the needs of Veterans.
2. Conduct psychological assessments and formulations.
3. Work autonomously in community-based settings.
4. Collaborate with other teams and professionals.
5. Engage individuals in psychological treatment.
Minimum Requirements
The successful applicant will be registered with the HCPC or BABCP or BACP and ideally the BPS/ACP. Experience in treating complex mental health needs and using therapeutic modalities such as CBT, EMDR, and Compassion Focused Therapy is essential.
