Join our client’s team as a Purchase Ledger Clerk and play a key role in ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of their purchase ledger function. Position: Purchase Ledger Clerk Location: Leicester, LE5 (Hybrid) Hours: Monday - Friday, 8.30am - 5pm Pay: Up to £28,500 per year Holidays: 32 days (Including BHs) Benefits: Birthday off, Life assurance, Company healthcare scheme, EAP and Enhanced maternity and paternity pay Your Responsibilities: · Process supplier invoices, credit notes and payments accurately in Sage 200 · Reconcile supplier statements and resolve any discrepancies · Manage the purchase ledger inbox, ensuring timely responses · Support accounts receivable, including debt chasing and invoicing · Assist in rolling out and managing the company’s credit card submission system What we require: · Experience in a similar purchase ledger/accounts payable role · Proficiency in Microsoft 365 including Excel · Strong attention to detail and ability to spot errors · Excellent communication and organisational skills · A proactive, problem-solving mindset with a commitment to efficiency Recruitment Process: To apply for this position, please complete the short application and ensure your most recent CV is included.
