Wherever they are in the world, they're committed to the success of their people, clients and communities - giving everyone a safer and more sustainable place to live, work and thrive.\n\nWhat's in it for you:\n\nCompetitive salary £55,000 - £65,000 per annum\n£5k car allowance\nOpportunities to develop and grow your career\nContributory pension scheme+ Private medical care\nGlobal travel scholarship programme\nFlexible / hybrid working arrangements\nYour Responsibilities:\n\nSupporting Business Unit Directors in delivering business objectives.\nPositively engaging with Customers and developing, growing and maintaining Customer relationships.\nDelivering high quality services and ensuring that cost management deliverables meet Customers' requirements.\nManaging projects and to deliver high quality services and deliverables in accordance with the business procedures.\nPreparing and presenting order of cost estimates and option studies.\nFull job description available upon request\nRequired Skills:\n\nSound cost management experience, and knowledge and practical experience of cost estimating and planning.\nGood knowledge of construction methods and materials.\nWorking knowledge of construction procurement strategies, including tendering and contract strategies.\nGood knowledge and experience of post-contract cost management tasks\nClear and effective communication skills - both oral and written\nExcellent organisational, problem, negotiating, finance and numeracy management skills\nSound ICT skills, with a good level of proficiency in MS Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint;\nAbility to absorb complex information and assess requirements readily\nClear understanding of legislation impacting on building contracts\nAbility to work as part of a team\nMRICS (Member of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors)- desirable. \n\nFor more information on the role please contact Will at Thorn Baker on (phone number removed) or email: \n\nTCH01
