Are you ready to embark on a journey of discovery with a group of curious little adventurers? We are on the lookout for an enthusiastic Early Years Relief Support Worker to join our enchanting woodland kindergarten, where nature is our classroom and every day is a new adventure! We are looking for someone with some flexibility and availability through the week to be called upon for help during staff absences.
About the Role:
At our magical outdoor setting, we nurture the holistic development of children through the joy of nature, play, and exploration.
As an early years relief support worker, you’ll be right in the heart of the action. You will assist in guiding children on woodland adventures, crafting, den-building masterpieces, participating in puddle jumping expeditions, and sharing stories around the campfire. Your mission? To foster creativity, curiosity, and a deep connection to the natural world in a supportive, fun, and safe environment.
Desirable Qualities & Skills
1. A passion for children: You’re genuinely interested in supporting children’s play, learning, and holistic development.
2. Love of nature: A true outdoor enthusiast who finds joy in every tree, twig, and trail. You’ll inspire others to feel the same!
3. Kind, honest, and hardworking: You bring warmth, reliability, and a sunny smile to everything you do, even when the weather isn’t perfect.
4. A sense of adventure and humour: Whether it's storytelling, crafting, or jumping into muddy puddles, you bring energy, fun, and a great sense of humour to your work.
5. A desire to learn: You’re excited to grow your knowledge of early education and join us on training events to deepen your understanding and skills.
6. Team player: You love making new friends (both children and colleagues) and working together to create something special.
What We Offer:
1. A magical, nature-filled work environment where no two days are the same.
2. A supportive team that values creativity, collaboration, and continuous learning.
3. Opportunities for professional development and training.
4. A fun, rewarding role where you can make a real difference in children’s lives.
If you’re ready to leave the classroom behind and step into a world of trees, mud, and imagination, we’d love to hear from you! Join our woodland tribe and help shape young minds in the most magical way possible.
