Overview Making the decision to enter treatment can be an intimidating experience for the people we support. You can make a difference. As a Floating Support Recovery Volunteer with Change Grow Live, you will be working in close collaboration with Recovery Coordinators, assisting them in their caseload management and supporting the service user through all aspects of their treatment journey. This can include risk management plans and undertaking one to one work. You will receive training and support. Responsibilities With this role you’ll be working alongside our Floating Support Recovery workers, the role is based in Lancaster. This is an exciting opportunity which will allow you to gain experience of working within the substance misuse field. No two days are the same and we treat every person who comes into our service as an individual, so being flexible, curious and a good listener are key. We will support you in this volunteering role by ensuring that you receive regular supervision and have someone on site who you can approach for day-to-day advice and guidance.
