Due to growth, our Central Region, based at our head office in Heage, is looking for an additional Document Controller to support their Regional Document Controller. This is a full-time position, working 8.30am to 5.30pm, Monday to Friday.
Duties of the Role:
1. Liaise with project teams (both internal and external) regarding drawing system and requirements.
2. Assist the Regional Document Controller with management of the drawing system (Viewpoint for Projects).
3. Work with the Group Digital Construction Team to ensure compliance with the BIM Management System.
4. Conduct QA Checks, including chasing up amended drawings when rejections are made.
5. Invite users to 4P, introduce new users to the naming convention/4P layout, and provide advice on using Viewpoint for Projects and resolving issues.
6. Carry out audits on drawing numbers and Viewpoint for Projects status, including daily checks for S4s.
7. Assist with the management of SCCAs and PEPs/BEPs.
8. Cover for the Regional Document Controller and assist other admin staff when workloads require.
Key Skills & Experience Required:
1. Excellent organisational skills.
2. People person, confident and enthusiastic with a good sense of humour.
3. Ability to work to deadlines and under pressure.
4. Microsoft Office skills essential, especially Word & Excel.
5. Good time-keeping.
6. Full driving licence.
