This role offers the opportunity to work within a global financial institution, contributing to the efficiency and accuracy of operational processes across diverse markets. Key Responsibilities: Transaction Processing & Monitoring: Ensure accurate and timely processing of financial transactions, including payments, trades, and settlements. Monitor transactions to identify discrepancies or delays and resolve issues promptly. Data Reconciliation: Perform reconciliations of various banking systems, ensuring alignment with internal records and external counterparties. Investigate and resolve transaction breaks or errors in a timely manner. Reporting & Documentation: Generate and review operational reports for senior management and key stakeholders. Maintain comprehensive records of all transactions and operational activities in accordance with regulatory requirements. Compliance & Risk Management: Ensure that all operational activities comply with internal policies, regulatory standards, and industry best practices. Identify potential risks and assist in the implementation of mitigation strategies. Stakeholder Interaction: Collaborate with various internal departments such as front office, risk, legal, and IT to ensure smooth operations. Provide support and respond to inquiries from clients, counterparties, and other external partners. Process Improvement & Innovation: Identify and propose opportunities to streamline operations and improve efficiency. Support the implementation of automation tools and operational system upgrades. Key Skills & Experience: Education: A degree in Finance, Business Administration, Economics, or a related field. Experience: 3 Yearws in an operations or back-office role, ideally within banking or financial services. Familiarity with trade processing, settlement operations, and financial products is preferred. Skills & Attributes: Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. Excellent attention to detail and ability to handle large volumes of data. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and banking systems. Strong communication and interpersonal skills for liaising with stakeholders.
