We are looking for a highly motivated & proactive individual with good health & safety awareness and allround DIY skills to work alongside our Building & Facilities Manager to ensure our Torquay School buildings are kept safe, clean and comfortable for our students & staff.
The ideal candidate will enjoy working in a busy & varied environment often independently, and must have an organised approach to tasks with great attention to detail.
The role is 15 hours per week, Wednesday-Friday 08.30-13.30 from 1st of March to 31st August 2025.
About the role:
* Ensure that students and staff at EF Torquay benefit from safe, clean and comfortable facilities
* Support the Building & Facilities Manager in completing health & safety checks
* General maintenance tasks around the school site
* Help troubleshoot IT issues with the support of EF’s central IT team
* To play a role in the maintaining of a ‘joined-up school approach’, where the different departments liaise and interact effectively and efficiently.
You are:

* Love to get stuck in and roll up sleeves
You have:
* The ability to maintain low maintenance groundworks / gardening
* Confidence handling general maintenance issues
* Full driving licence & access to vehicle
