Job Description
Join us in making a difference as a Child Exploitation Case Worker with Catch22, supporting Staffordshire Police, Stoke-on-Trent, and Staffordshire local authorities. In this vital role, you'll provide holistic family support to children and young people at risk of or subjected to child criminal exploitation (CE) through urban gang affiliation. Your responsibilities include one-to-one intervention, group work, and training events to raise awareness of CE and youth crime issues in Stoke-On-Trent and Staffordshire. Collaborating with Children's Social Care and the Police, you'll undertake assessments, develop risk reduction plans, and work towards a holistic approach for up to 15 young people at a time.
As a Child Exploitation Case Worker, you'll have the opportunity to engage hard-to-reach young people and families through creative techniques, promoting access to diversionary activities that reduce the risk of criminal exploitation. Your role will involve delivering awareness/training sessions to various stakeholders, fostering positive relationships with partner agencies, and ensuring young victims receive the necessary support during police investigations and court cases. This is a chance to contribute to the improvement of lives on the frontline, addressing the complex web that can trap and disempower vulnerable individuals.
