Job Description:
Bramwith Consulting is seeking an IT & Indirects Category Manager for a leading FTSE 100 FMCG company based in central London. The role offers a salary of £40,000 - 60,000 plus car and benefits.
This iconic FMCG brand has experienced significant growth over the past five years, with continued expansion on the horizon. The company is investing heavily in procurement, creating an exciting opportunity for a strategic sourcing professional to join their close-knit team.
The successful candidate will own a complex multi-million-pound spend across IT Software, Hardware, Consultancy, HR, Utilities, FM, and Fleet, while mentoring an up-and-coming Indirects Buyer.
Role overview:
1. Lead strategic sourcing for all Software, Hardware, and Professional Services categories, including Licensing, Application Development, Cloud, Data Centers, Servers, and Storage.
2. Negotiate with leading technology vendors such as Microsoft, HP, Dell, Oracle, and IBM to secure cost savings and commercial advantages.
3. Lead category and sourcing strategies, managing the end-to-end procurement process including RFPs and RFQs.
4. Engage with executive stakeholders to gain support for procurement initiatives.
5. Promote a high-performance culture within the procurement team, upskilling junior members and exemplifying best-in-class IT procurement practices.
Requirements:
* Strong procurement and strategic sourcing experience, with at least 2 years in IT & Technology categories.
* Progression from Buyer to Senior Buyer to Procurement or Category Manager within a short timeframe.
* Degree or MCIPS qualifications are preferred but not essential.
This is an excellent opportunity for a charismatic procurement professional to work in a collaborative environment, lead strategic projects, and advance towards a directorship role.
