Dalkia are seeking a proactive Working Supervisor to join our team covering commercial sites throughout Hertfordshire and Cambridge. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for our clients, ensuring their needs are met promptly and effectively.
You will oversee daily operations, coordinate M&E PPM and reactive works, and ensure high-quality service delivery.
Main Responsibilities:
Client Liaison:
* Act as the first point of contact for clients, addressing inquiries and concerns promptly and professionally.
* Build and maintain strong relationships with clients to ensure satisfaction and trust in our services.
Supervision & Leadership:
* Supervise and coordinate the activities of the maintenance team, ensuring tasks are completed on time and to a high standard.
* Provide guidance and support to team members, fostering a collaborative and efficient work environment.
Work Organisation:
* Assist in planning and scheduling PPM and reactive work to ensure timely completion.
* Allocate resources effectively to meet service delivery requirements.
Proactive Management:
* Identify potential issues before they escalate, implementing preventative measures.
* Encourage a proactive approach within the team to enhance service delivery and client satisfaction.
Quality Assurance:
* Conduct regular quality checks on completed work to ensure compliance with company standards and regulations.
* Address quality issues promptly and implement corrective actions as needed.
Health & Safety Compliance:
* Carry out regular Health and Safety inspections, ensuring adherence to all relevant regulations and best practices.
* Promote a culture of safety within the team through risk assessments, Toolbox Talks, setting to works and safety briefings.
PPM & Reactive Workload:
* Perform a range of PPM and reactive maintenance tasks, demonstrating technical expertise in M&E systems.
* Troubleshoot and resolve issues efficiently, minimizing downtime for clients.
Reporting & Documentation:
* Maintain accurate records of work completed, including reports on inspections, quality checks, and H&S compliance.
* Assist in preparing reports for management, highlighting areas for improvement or concerns.
Hours of Work:
Monday to Friday, 8am - 5pm, 40 hours per week

Qualifications and Experience Required:
* Proven experience in facilities management, specifically in M&E PPM and reactive maintenance
* Strong supervisory skills with the ability to lead and motivate a team.
* Relevant qualifications in electrical or mechanical engineering (e.g., City & Guilds, NVQ, etc.)
