The role of Software Engineer will be based at our Nottingham office and you will be working alongside a Senior Software Engineer. Whilst we operate a hybrid working policy, you will be expected to attend the office on a regular basis following completion of your induction and training. This role is to ensure that our development team can deliver new features consistently and at a faster pace. It is important that the applicant is willing to learn new technologies and have a pro-active attitude. Having a passion for technology and willing to embrace change is key. The Role Ensuring the successful Support, Design, Development, Testing and Documentation of assigned functional areas, programs or systems as appropriate. Key Responsibilities: To develop or support programs from specifications provided. To write programs which adhere to defined standards, and achieve the required quality standards of Altia and its customers’. To plan and undertake the testing of programs prior to delivery to the customer. To assist in systems analysis, design and testing. To provide support for live systems (where required by the customer to include out of hours support). Undertake code reviews To be able to deal with user queries in a professional manner. To participate in agile meetings and provide input for estimations of work To assist with documentation.
