37.5 hours a week mainly working Monday to Friday 8-4 or 8.30-4.30pm with some weekend cover when required.
Salary
Youll receive an annual salary up to £46,420 per annum- depending on experience

Main duties of the job
As a Deputy Mental Health Lead (Senior Nurse), your responsibilities will vary. You will
* Work within a multi-disciplinary team carrying out comprehensiveassessments, initiating and reviewing care plans, and developing treatment options.
* Managing a team of around 5 or 6 Mental Health Nurses, LD Nurse and a TNA
* You willundertake medication rounds, and assess and treat patients who may have undergone traumaticexperiences and may be distressed.
* You will assess patients health needs using an evidence basedframework and be able to risk assess use sound clinical knowledge.
* You will ensure that you assess physical and mental health of prisoners on admission to the prison and throughout their period of custody so that any appropriate referral can be made.
* You will also be responsible for making a clinical judgement with regard to any immediate need and long term treatment.
