Procurement Heads is recruiting on behalf of a leading international real estate business for a Category Manager to join their growing team. Key Responsibilities:
1. Partner closely with business stakeholders, coaching and empowering teams to adopt sourcing best practices and enhance Supplier Relationship Management (SRM).
2. Take ownership of sourcing projects across multiple categories, leading each stage from strategy to execution.
3. Build and maintain strong supplier relationships, driving innovation and continuous improvement.
4. Work with the supplier risk management team to maintain a current, accurate master supplier database.
5. Provide support during peak periods to ensure smooth procurement operations.
Key Skills & Qualifications:
1. Proven experience in tendering, ideally within FM or indirect categories (IT, Professional Services, HR, Marketing).
2. Strong stakeholder engagement and change management skills, with the ability to influence and coach senior leaders.
3. Supplier relationship management and negotiation experience, with a commercial and contract-focused mindset.
4. Proficiency in sourcing tools (ideally Proactics) and a drive for user adoption.
5. Excellent communication skills - both written and spoken.
6. Highly numerate, with strong IT skills (MS Office, intermediate level).
