Location: Cirencester Office Workplace Type: Hybrid Employment Type: 6 month Fixed-Term Contract Seniority: Associate You will be responsible for reviewing and approving large volume, high value payments in SJP’s bank and Treasury management systems. This is a key new role requiring detailed knowledge of standard payment processes. You will be comfortable operating autonomously at times and be an SME in payments processing when providing support to team members. You will have excellent communication skills with good problem solving & prioritisation skills. What you’ll be doing: Inputting and approving manual payments in bank systems and Treasury Management System. Supporting the finance operations team in daily payment processes. Acting as an SME applying specialist knowledge in payments across the finance operations team. Dealing with complex processes and queries with appropriate communications across diverse stakeholder groups. Operating a continuous improvement approach and ensure key process documentation stays up to date. Who we’re looking for: Thorough and detailed knowledge/experience of standard processes in Payments area. Comprehensive understanding of relevant payment, fraud and Anti Money Laundering guidelines as well as HMRC requirements. Capacity to develop broad knowledge of the relevant business structures and how different departments integrate. Able to prioritise workload with effective time management to deliver successful outcomes. Able to Identify and resolve issues to ensure swift processing of payments. Able to connect with all areas of the business. Desirable Experience: Experience of Unit 4 Business World and PT-X system Knowledge of banking systems and Kyriba Treasury Management System What's in it for you?
