Branch Manager London - Athlete Lab About Athlete Lab Athlete Lab is an accomplished operator of state-of-the-art indoor cycling studios with successful operations in Singapore and Australia. We provide convenient, safe, fun and high quality cycling training that enables our members to significantly increase their cycling performance utilising proven science based workouts in a cool high-tech enviroment with large sceens displaying rider data and cycling footage. Athlete Lab provides high quality coaching and physiological sports testing. Athlete Lab members are typically located within financial centres in major cities and our customers are generally cyclists and triathletes of all levels and abilities. Utilising our unique Adjustabike technology and best-of-breed software applications, our training schedule typically focuses on maximal efficiency through interval training and a selection of recovery rides or actual courses. Following the success of our other studios, Athlete Lab is assembling the team to deliver its landmark location in the City of London which will be our first UK location. About You The ideal candidate for this position is likely to have keen interest in cycling or triathlon and have a coaching background in either discipline. You will be familiar with the benefits of training with power in cycling and this will be the position you dream about when you sleep at night. The role is very customer focused and requires someone with proven sales skills in either a consumer or business to business background. You will also be comfortable in hiring and managing a small team of awesome staff and ensuring an exceptional high level of service by instinctively knowing what needs to be done. Excellent inter-personal communication skills and an outgoing and enthusiastic personality are mandatory. Being a totally new location, you will be comfortable managing a go-to-market launch plan and reporting frequently to head office. Training for the right candidate however will be in Singapore for an initial month so you can see a fully functioning Athlete Lab in Operation. Other tasks and responsibilities that you’ll be responsible for include: Managing every aspect of a stand-alone business (staff, marketing, operations and finance supported by head office resource) and implementing Athlete Lab operational policy and procedures.
