Our client are a market leader in the integration of automated solutions into industries such as FMCG, Automotive and Marine. They are seeking a business development manager to join their growing team, the role will involve the generation of new leads and securing new long-term partnerships. The role can be remote based but the successful candidate will on occasion be required in the Telford office.
Key Responsibilities – Business Development Manager (Automation)
Present to potential clients through direct or digital communication
Provide a high-quality service to potential and existing customers
Successful management of the sales process from lead generation, pitching, asking questions, pitching the solution, negotiating and closing the order through to handing over a project to the Engineering team and kick-off meeting with customer
Prepare proposals and specifications with the full support of the Sales Applications team and in accordance with company procedures
Maintain an up-to-date knowledge of issues affecting system integrator companies and the drives, digital and automation industry. Maintain an awareness of competitor activities
Representing the company at industry events and tradeshows in order to gain new business leads and contacts
