Warehouse Operative We have an exciting opportunity for a Warehouse Sortation Operative to become a key part of our Lutterworth (ADC) based logistics team. In this role, you will ensure the safe and efficient loading and unloading of stock from delivery vehicles within our hub. Your responsibilities will include organising loads into delivery routes, using scanning procedures when required, and preparing bulk paper pallets for drivers. You will also ensure all loads are secure, communicate load conditions to drivers, and produce necessary paperwork where applicable. Additionally, you may be required to cover holidays and absences, which could include vehicle loading, ensuring relevant documentation is in place, and using technology to obtain proof of deliveries. Your Schedule: Monday - Friday 2pm - 10 pm (Decant PM department) Key Responsibilities: Safely load and unload stock from delivery vehicles within the hub. Organise loads efficiently into delivery routes and use scanning procedures when necessary. Ensure all loads are secure and communicate load conditions to drivers, producing relevant paperwork as needed. Cover holiday and absence periods by assisting with vehicle loading and proof of deliveries. Adhere to health and safety protocols while maintaining attention to detail and teamwork. Physical fitness, as the role involves walking, standing, lifting, and stretching, with occasional heavy lifting. Strong communication skills and basic numeracy and literacy.
